September 2012: Launch of the MAXXING User Club!

At the request of many customers and business partners, MAXXING will launch its User Club next September!

The objectives are simple: get together, foster dialogue and encourage the exchange of ideas with a view to anticipate the future of our industry and shape the solutions of tomorrow.

V5.1 Release: Major Solution Upgrade

Scheduled for release in March, the V5.1 release raises the bar with critical new features in the following areas:

• Calculation and Processing Power

Calculation times are divided by 3: the 5.1 release handles a lot more data and sees its processing times greatly improved whether it be for the processing of secured offers, mobility queries in the customer context, or queries to the main server. Concretely, this means that the promotion execution engine runs a lot faster both in the store and on websites.

• Load-balancing: Cluster Mode Architecture

The way technical modules are now organized makes it easier to handle high data workloads smoothly and seamlessly without the need to modify the existing architecture. Practically speaking, MAXXING now supports multiple server architectures including load-balancing and cloud computing.

• Functional and Business Improvements

On the functional side, the 5.1 release supports new customer segmenting techniques: GOLD/SILVER and RFM by site. On the business side, the e-mailing, texting and mailing capabilities are now better integrated. The process that handles returned items has also been fine-tuned and now includes improved support for active promotions at the time the item was sold in order to recompute rewards while the item is being returned and thus prevent fraud.

Eric PIVETEAU Appointed Sales Director

With a professional background mainly in the Retail industry, Eric started his career at IBM in 1989 as a project manager and then became manager of the Retail Projects division. In 2008, he joined Wincor-Nixdorf where he managed Retail Project teams.

At the beginning of 2012, Eric joined Maxxing to manage and develop sales on the European market.

We are now back from the 2012 NRF (National Retail Federation) Retail Show - the world's biggest Retail trade show - which took place on January 16-17 in New-York City.

We were there for the 4th time and 2nd year in a row as an exhibitor.

On Tuesday, January 17, our conference titled "Boosting Customer Loyalty through Interactive Promotions Management" was a great success. The room was packed with people as Pascale COUTON of PRINTEMPS explained why her company chose MAXXING as their preferred solution to run the "Supreme Card" loyalty project.

New MAXXING Website: Check it out now!

Launched at the beginning of the year, the new MAXXING website was completely revamped both in terms of design and content. The previous website was no longer in line with the current solution model and did not properly convey its image of a consistent and comprehensive solution. Now it's done! The new site was redesigned from scratch with a more dynamic and enticing image based on a new graphical charter which better reflects the solution's positioning.

What's New:

• News & Events tab:

The tab is seen as a blog with different sections such as Events, Newsletters, Press Releases and a Media Kit. It helps us share information about the events in which we participate, new product developments and corporate news.
