Customer mobility translates into 2 buying behaviours: nomadism and cross-channel.

Nomadism is a trend whereby customers shop in different store models within the same retail chain (e.g. hypermarket, supermarket, convenience store, etc.).
Cross-channel is another term which refers to consumers making purchases via different sales channels also within the same retail chain (e.g. store, distance selling, e-commerce Web site, mobile application, etc.).
