Maxxing's solution supports all touch points and offers many features to integrate with social media as part of a comprehensive multichannel strategy:
Maxxing's customer repository called Customer Management interfaces with social media in order to capture meaningful information e.g. profiles, preferences, hobbies, interests, club membership, etc. and use it in the Targeting module as a means to refine customer target groups and segments. For example, a retailer can encourage shoppers to become fans of the store chain's Facebook page in order to retrieve their opt-in choices and use them in e-mailing campaigns.
Maxxing's promotion execution engine called Tailored Promotions personalises the content of the social network page visited by shoppers based on which target group or customer segment they belong to, or depending on how they browse the site.
Assessing the performance of campaigns run in social media is still very hazy. However, the powerful reporting features included in Maxxing's Campaign Management module provide a detailed analysis of promotion performance and campaign impact on a given group of social media users compared to shoppers who do not use social media, which makes it possible to measure the retailer's real return on investment. |
