Relevant and Consistent Promotions

To build a reliable repository, promotions must be managed in two ways:

Creative and Relevant

To stand out from the competition, retailers must be able to design creative and relevant promotions. They have to innovate in terms of rewards (promotion types) and delivery/redemption mechanics (medium and criteria).

Real-time and Multichannel

Most retailers have a multichannel sales strategy combining classic store retailing and a Web site in which each channel is isolated from each other. In this model, managing customer data and gathering real-time information from multiple sources is still an everyday challenge.

Consumers however use multiple touch points and sales channels e.g. point of sale, Web, smartphone apps, kiosks and expect coherent and consistent promotions regardless of how the retailer interacts with them e.g. coupons, SMS, mailings, or e-mail, etc.

Design and create promotion content: HTML, image, text
Include dynamic data e.g. customer, check-out, discount amount, or barcode information, etc.

Promotions Execution

Promotion priorities and conflicts, compute real-time best or worst deal per customer.
Deploy promotions to favourite touch points: SMS, e-mail, MMS, mailing, etc.
Execute promotions in real time on all sales channels: store, Web, mobile app, call centre, etc.
Control eligibility criteria in real time using unique EAN codes
